Job Title: Duty Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Front Office department, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction, and achieving optimal revenue levels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily maintenance of room inventory status to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction
  • Collaborating with Finance to minimize account receivables and optimize financial performance
  • Reporting to the FOM on Front Office performance, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions
  • Developing and training the team to enhance productivity, guest satisfaction, and service excellence
  • Anticipating guest needs, providing prompt and efficient service, and resolving guest complaints
  • Coordinating Front Office operations, including Reception, Concierge, Bellman, Doorman, and Operator, to ensure guest service excellence
  • Contributing to the implementation of service concept upgrades and operational improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, ethical codes, and local laws and regulations
  • Maintaining awareness of Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation and ensuring team familiarity
