Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Life Insurance Pricing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the development and implementation of our life insurance pricing strategies.

You will work closely with our actuarial team to ensure that our life insurance products are priced competitively while maintaining profitability targets. Your expertise in life insurance pricing, risk management, and financial modeling will be crucial in driving business growth and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing of new life insurance products and repricing of existing products to ensure profitability targets are met
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, IT, operations, claims, investment, finance, and risk management, to address any product-related issues and close gaps for timely product launches
  • Preparation of discussion materials for product committee meetings and submission of premium certificates to regulatory bodies
  • Regular experience analysis and production of MI reports to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in related fields, preferably in life insurance pricing or valuation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of life insurance and pricing principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as actuarial science, finance, or accounting
