The Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) is a dynamic organization dedicated to making life-saving bone marrow donations a reality. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Strategic Partnership and Donor Recruitment Manager.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in business development, client relationship management, and analytics to lead our donor recruitment efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating strategic plans, building effective teams, and driving results-oriented initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of donor recruitment and public education.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • To formulate below-the-line strategies that leverage partnerships through corporate, community, education, and government channels to achieve donor recruitment and public education opportunities.
  • To drive innovative donor recruitment and public education strategies to fruition.
  • To develop, mentor, and lead the members of the donor recruitment team to achieve their objectives.
  • To oversee the recruitment curriculum, training, and engagement of ambassadors to support the team's objectives and the charity's goals of building a volunteer database.
  • To oversee the donor recruitment training curriculum for staff and volunteers to ensure every member of the charity is proficient in donor recruitment.
  • To drive strategies that reduce donor attrition from registration to donation through digitization and other initiatives.
  • To strategize and lead below-the-line communication for marrow donors, pledgers, ambassadors, and other stakeholders.
  • To ensure event operations are well organized and executed by the donor recruitment team and incidents are promptly managed.
  • To oversee swab processing operations, increase efficiency, and maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • To oversee the overall management of the marrow donor register ensuring donor quality and data integrity.
  • To lead the charity's annual flagship event – Match for Life.
  • To oversee/support manpower in recruitment initiatives when required.
  • To review department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the charity's policies and adherence to regulating bodies such as WMDA.
  • To take on the role of Assistant Data Protection Officer for the team and ensure adherence to the PDPA Act.
  • To plan, manage, and review the team's budget, expenses, and yearly plans with BMDP Management.
  • To plan and organize the Donor Recruitment and Public Education Sub-Committee meetings with the Public Education Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Communications/Marketing.
  • At least 8 years of working experience.
  • Background in Business Development.
  • Client Relationship Management.
  • Analytics (Data Analytics, Qualitative & Quantitative research).
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Salary: Estimated $80,000 - $120,000 per year depending on experience and location.
