Job Title: Pet Care Sales Assistant

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Pet Care Sales Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and promoting pet care products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering their queries, and making recommendations on pet care products
  • Perform cashiering duties, including handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and maintaining accurate records
  • Receive and arrange stock on shelves, ensuring that products are well-organized and easily accessible to customers
  • Monitor expiry dates and shelf lives of products, rotating stock as necessary to maintain optimal product freshness and quality
  • Pack products according to customers' orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meeting customer needs
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain outlet cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work retail operational hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Capacity to carry heavy loads up to 10kg (with trolley assistance) and willingness to travel for business purposes
  • Growth mindset with a can-do attitude, embracing challenges and opportunities for growth and development
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and possessing good problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and achieve goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
