Assistant Laundry Manager Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the Assistant Laundry Manager position.

This role is responsible for assisting the laundry manager in the daily operation of guest laundry & collection counter, ensuring seamless service delivery through close collaboration with the laundry team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the laundry manager in the daily operation of guest laundry & collection counter.
  • Detailed checking and tagging of guest garments/linen for defects, discolouration, missing accessories, etc.
  • Follow established job processes as stated in the Laundry Procedures – Checking, tagging, washing, drying, pressing, packing of guest laundry.
  • Manage and ensure the cleanliness of the laundry plant and counter.
  • Perform daily counter operations and duties.
  • Ensure all payments received are accurate and tally with the daily cashier report.
  • Serve as the direct focal point and direct link with customers on all customer issues.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with laundry experience.
  • Good command of English in both verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in computer systems.
  • Confident with a pleasant disposition and well-groomed appearance.
  • Friendly personality and meticulous working attitude.
  • Willingness to be hands-on to learn operation processes and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to operate and manage production to achieve set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
