Overview

As a Finance Manager at Guotai Junan Futures (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's financial operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement effective financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decision-making.
  • Lead the accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, money market instruments, and treasury management functions.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory and taxation documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, handle treasury activities, and ensure the company's financial systems are robust and compliant.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management accounts, PnL reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate the annual financial audit process, manage audit and tax matters, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support and undertake ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
  • Degree in a numerical discipline; professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, capital markets, futures, and options, or audit firms with exposure to financial industry regulations and MAS reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese to facilitate communication with China HQ and Chinese-speaking clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
