About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing our Singaporean operations, including setting up and structuring the operational framework, supporting local compliance, and building operational playbooks, projects, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Establish operational framework: Set up and structure operations in alignment with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Outsourced services management: Oversee outsourced services, including intra-group and third-party providers, ensuring they deliver services in line with local regulations and contractual obligations across workstreams such as asset safeguarding, digital asset listings, and customer support.
• Business continuity management: Lead the activation and execution of the entity business continuity & crisis management plan and oversee the BCM exercise for the entity and liaise with global teams in this area.
• Risk management: Create local risk appetite statements and own critical areas of enterprise risk management such as business continuity, disaster recovery, and other business risk areas.

What You'll Be Doing
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, security, finance, product, customer service, and more. You will also have the opportunity to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and regulators, to effectively communicate operational and risk strategies.

Requirements
• 8+ years of industry work experience.
• Extensive experience in operations within regulated fast-moving fintechs or similar business divisions, particularly in scaling up regulated entities.
• Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations and risk requirements for financial institutions.
• Proven ability to manage first-line defense functions and oversee outsourced service providers.
• Deep knowledge of safeguarding, fiat currency setups, and ledgering processes.
• Excellent management and complex project delivery capabilities with a track record of managing across organizational functions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in regulatory compliance and operational processes.
