Job Title: Game Development Team Lead

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of junior developers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they meet key performance indicators and deliver high-quality output. As a focal point for the development team, the individual will lead by example and foster a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities include reviewing core technology solutions, providing constructive feedback during code reviews, and working across departments to enhance communication, streamline processes, and ensure efficient workflows. The role also involves leading meetings, tackling challenges, and upholding team morale with diplomatic and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, the Game Development Team Lead will be responsible for leading interviews, evaluating technical and cultural fit when recruiting new team members. A strong background in game development, with at least three years of experience in the gaming industry, is essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in game development tools such as Unity, Cocos, and Godot, as well as app development tools like Swift, Flutter, and Objective-C.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Prior experience in managing personnel situations with diplomacy.
  • Leadership experience, including interviewing and hiring technical staff.
