Job Title: Network Technical Support Specialist
Network Infrastructure and OperationsWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining wired and wireless network infrastructures.
Your primary focus will be on configuring internet routers, switches, and wireless access points (APs) to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal network performance.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also provide basic desktop support as part of network troubleshooting exercises. This will involve resolving common technical issues and providing timely assistance to our customers.
You will work closely with our managed services clients to provide advanced technical support for networks onsite and remotely. This will include performing routine checks, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to prevent downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Networking Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in networking is required. You should have a solid understanding of internet connectivity, routers, switches, and AP solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Good working knowledge of prevailing UTM brands of firewalls and endpoint security solutions is preferred. Familiarity with SQL and Windows operating systems is also beneficial.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
