Business Operations Audit Professional

The role of Business Operations Audit Professional is to lead the planning, organizing and execution of audits for a group of companies. This includes assisting the Head of Internal Auditor in providing independent and objective assurance to improve operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are covered and recommend improvements to policies, procedures and practices;
  • Lead or participate in audit assignment planning to ensure quality of reports and timeliness of deliverables;
  • Develop audit plans and programs, ensuring they are up-to-date and suitable to the current operating environment;
  • Report findings, risks and recommendations to auditees and assist in finalizing reports;
  • Participate in ad-hoc assignments including special projects and investigations;
  • Assist in following up with auditees on outstanding findings through the issuance of Audit Tracking Report;
  • Ensure observation of audit operating standards and procedures;
  • Assist in administration of Group Internal Audit and ensure efficient usage of resources;
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate risks;
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance and emerging threats;
  • Highlights potential concerns/risks and shares best risk management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mid-Senior level seniority;
  • Full-time employment type;

  • Insurance industry experience.
