Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes, including production lines, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of engineers, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production output and quality, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with various departments like HR admin, logistics, and quality control.
  • Compliance: Enforce company policies and labour laws.
Facility Management Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of the factory, equipment, and systems.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and functional work environment by managing cleaning services and waste disposal.
  • Space Optimization: Optimize the use of space within the factory to ensure it meets the needs of production processes and employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a factory & facility management role in Malaysia.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, familiarity with production planning and scheduling, ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, familiarity with Malaysia health and safety regulations, fluency in English and Malay languages.
