Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nautical Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical matters, completing services according to works orders, and conducting acceptance tests of equipment and systems with customers or their representatives. Experience in troubleshooting, project handling/execution, servicing, and commissioning will be preferred.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the complexity of the role, the required skills and qualifications, and the location.

Job Description
The Nautical Automation Systems Specialist will be responsible for:
  1. Resolving technical matters related to marine automation systems.
  2. Completing services according to works orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  3. Conducting acceptance tests of equipment and systems with customers or their representatives.
  4. Carrying out repair/adjustment if required.
  5. Providing service/investigation reports where applicable.
  6. Preparing and submitting travel reports on work progress as well as completion of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:
  • A degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of related field experience in Alarm Monitoring and Control System as well as good knowledge of computer hardware/peripherals and basic software's.
  • Experience onboard ship for automation systems (controls and propulsion), system process knowledge, distributed control systems, and power management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
