About the Role

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking an experienced professional to join our China Engagement team as an Engagement Manager. This role will be responsible for engaging with the University's Chinese alumni residing in and outside Singapore, as well as planning, organising and delivering bilingual alumni-focused programmes, events and activities.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • Engaging the University's Chinese alumni residing in and outside Singapore;
  • Planning, organising and delivering bilingual alumni-focused programmes, events and activities;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have a recognised degree with at least 7 years of work experience, preferably in engagement, partnerships or marketing. You should also possess the following skills:

  • A self-starter who is creative, resourceful and good with people;
  • A good communicator with strong diplomacy skills;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages to effectively engage Chinese-speaking alumni and produce bilingual content;
  • Good project management skills, meticulous and attentive to details;
  • Hands-on, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Willingness to work and travel beyond regular office hours and on weekends, when necessary.
