Job Description:

As a Tile Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing tiles in residential and commercial settings. This includes measuring and marking surfaces, preparing and leveling surfaces, cutting tiles to fit corners and edges, applying adhesives and grouting, and aligning and setting tiles with accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
  • Prepare and level surfaces before tiling
  • Cut tiles to fit corners, edges, and other irregular spaces
  • Apply adhesives, grouting, and sealants
  • Align and set tiles with accuracy
  • Repair and replace broken or damaged tiles
  • Maintain tools and work area in good condition
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Tiler
  • Knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, and grout
  • Ability to measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately
  • Skilled in using tile-cutting tools and equipment
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Basic math skills for measurements
  • High school education or equivalent (vocational training preferred)
