The Tax Associate role at Baker Tilly Singapore involves providing support to the Tax function in delivering high-quality tax services to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partner and Manager teams to service clients' tax needs in relation to Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Transfer Pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in relation to their tax needs in the area of income tax, including the preparation, review, and e-filing of their income tax returns.
  • Assist clients with the application of GST registration, exemption, and GST scheme, as well as assist them with the review and e-filing of GST returns.
  • Support the Partner and Manager teams in servicing clients in relation to their tax needs in the area of transfer pricing, including the design of cross-border supply chain models and the implementation of pricing policies from a commercial perspective.
  • Work with colleagues internally and across the globe in relation to proposals and delivering on tax projects.
  • Provide support in relation to marketing activities such as seminars, webcasts, and business development collaterals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
