Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Lead to oversee the daily construction activities of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in managing building projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, forecast, and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project
  • Lead engineers/coordinators/supervisors and provide on-the-job coaching as required
  • Review manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation
  • Track sub-contractors' work progress, provide weekly schedules, and conduct daily coordination meetings to ensure project timelines are met by sub-contractors
  • Logistic/Hoisting/Scaffolding access arrangements for daily operation needs
  • Material requisition planning and scheduled delivery
  • Ensure that site activities are executed in accordance with specifications, budget, and time schedules
  • Maintain close collaboration with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and all stakeholders to minimize errors in the process to achieve smooth completion of projects
  • Exercise effective safe and economical methodology and enforce project standards
  • Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site
  • Conduct regular internal, subcontractor, and site safety meetings
  • Maintain proper housekeeping at all locations at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 7 years and above experience in building projects/civil preferred
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of staff
  • Able to work independently
  • Good people management skills to coordinate between various disciplines and teams on the project
  • Possess good problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Condominium construction highly preferred
