Job Description

Prestige Biopharma Limited seeks a highly skilled Bioanalytical Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research department, you will be responsible for developing and validating bioassays and bioanalytical assays in compliance with FDA/EMA and GLP guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, validate, and perform bioassays and bioanalytical assays in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Refine current methods in response to changing drug development requirements.
  • Prepare study plans and data analysis for assays performed.
  • Analyze and present data/results to the team.
  • Document work, results, analyses, and findings in laboratory notebooks or study folders as appropriate.
  • Draft SOPs and study reports.
  • Perform literature reviews for various drug pipelines and assays as required.
  • Meet project milestones with set quality standards.
  • Ensure scientific integrity of studies conducted and reports submitted.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc or MSc in biomedical science, life science, or an equivalent field.
  • Prior research and development experience is required.
  • Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques is essential.
  • Experience in ligand binding assays, mainly ELISA, cell-based assays, SDS-PAGE, western blot, and reporter assays is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge of cell-based (potency) or ligand binding assays required in drug development processes.
  • Proficiency with office software (MS Office, Teams), and familiarity with statistical tools (Graphpad Prism, XLSTAT or PLA).
  • Knowledge of bioassays, bioanalytics, and method validation, GLP, and ISO17025 is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bioanalytical research principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
