Job Description

As a Blast Engineer Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting blast analyses and proposing security plans integrating operations and technology solutions with protective designs and/or blast measures for structural engineering works.

The successful candidate will have experience in Finite Element Modelling, ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments, and effective written communication and report writing skills in English.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board with at least three years of blast engineering experience.
  • An understanding of local building codes and regulations on blast design.
  • Knowledge of design and analysis of structures under dynamic loading, e.g. blast, shock, and vibration.
  • Ability to remain positively motivated at times of significant pressure.
