At GLOBALFOUNDRIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team. As an Indirect Tax Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly GST returns for our Asia Pacific entities.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of accurate and timely GST returns for Singapore, Malaysia, India, China, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
  • Support in indirect tax planning and advisory services for our Asia Pacific entities.
  • Assist in special projects, such as e-Invoicing and system implementation.
  • Provide support in other tax aspects, including property tax and stamp duty.
  • Support indirect tax accounting function and tax notes preparation for financial statement disclosure purposes.
  • Monitor new tax legislations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Accountancy or Taxation or professional qualifications recognized by ICPAS.
  • 0-3 years of experience in tax or accounting.
  • Basic background in Singapore GST compliance, experience in GST returns is an advantage.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel and PowerBI.
