Job Title: Cancer Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to spearhead projects in cancer research and establish new experimental approaches. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in life sciences or biomedical sciences with a solid background in experimental research, particularly in molecular and cellular biology.

The successful candidate will possess a strong interest in molecular medicine, mechanisms of tumorigenesis, and/or cancer target validation approaches. Experience with ChIP sequencing and imaging techniques is favorable.

  • Developing research ideas and themes closely with the Principal Investigator
  • Spearheading projects and establishing new experimental approaches
  • Supervising younger PhD students or RA in the lab

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to co-write grants with the Principal Investigator and stand a chance to win career development grants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading research initiatives and developing innovative solutions
  • Collaborating with the Principal Investigator to develop research ideas and themes
  • Supervising junior researchers and mentoring them in their roles

Requirements:

  • PhD in any field of life sciences study with research experience 1-2 years
  • Techniques in general molecular biology, cell biology, imaging, and experience using software for manuscript preparation
