Job Summary

As a seasoned Painter Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and finish on various construction and industrial projects. You will work closely with other trades and site workers to meet project deadlines.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers using standard tools and equipment.
  • Apply paints, varnishes, sealants, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns according to manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
  • Perform touch-ups, retouching, and repair works as required to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
  • Protect non-paintable areas with masking tape, drop cloths, or protective coverings to prevent damage.
  • Ensure proper color matching and finishing techniques are applied consistently throughout the project.
  • Maintain painting tools, spray guns, and equipment in good working condition to prevent malfunctions and maintain productivity.
  • Follow safety procedures, especially when working at heights, with chemicals, or in confined spaces to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Painter in construction or industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, and surface preparation methods is essential.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or outdoors is necessary.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing, matching, and finishing techniques is required.
  • Good eye for detail and quality workmanship is expected.
