Job Title: Musical Theatre Educator

About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced musical theatre educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching singing, acting, and dance classes to students of various ages and levels.

  • Teach engaging and technically sound musical theatre classes incorporating singing, acting, and dance.
  • Prepare students for Trinity Musical Theatre Examinations, showcases, and competitions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to follow lesson plans and syllabus requirements.
  • Choreograph routines and rehearse students for events and productions.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to help students progress.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
  • Support seasonal programs such as workshops, intensives, and rehearsals.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience in musical theatre performance.
  • Strong teaching background with students of all ages and abilities.
  • Proficiency in singing, acting, and dance instruction.
  • Experience preparing students for graded examinations and stage performances.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • A passion for arts education.
