">About the Job:

You will be part of a team providing inspection and assessment services for petrochemical and chemical plants pipelines, refineries, storage tanks, and off-shore platforms.

  • Lead a team to conduct non-destructive testing and inspection work on storage tanks, pressure vessels, and pipelines.
  • Develop testing methodologies and procedures for ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, magnetic flux leakage, visual testing, leak testing, radiographic film interpretation, and long range ultrasonic testing (guided wave testing).
  • Provide NDT Level 3 services and train inspectors in respective methods.
  • Oversee inspection of various equipment such as pressure vessels, above ground storage tanks, and structural components.
  • Represent the division as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and participate in quality management meetings and audits involving ISO standards.
  • Provide internal training and technical guidance for other inspectors.
  • Ensure all personal certification is up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimum 5 years of inspection experience in oil/petrochemical industries with relevant API certificates or minimum 10 years of inspection experience in oil/petrochemical industries.
  • Able to perform QA of piping/equipment repair work and liaise with contractors, maintenance, and operation personnel.
  • Ability to interpret NDT results.
  • Ability to review working procedures and ITPs.
  • Good knowledge of pressure equipment manufacturing codes, like ASME and API, as well as welding processes.
  • Good knowledge of materials and pipes/equipment used in refineries and their damage mechanisms.

This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage teams. A high level of technical expertise is also required, particularly in areas related to pipeline inspection and maintenance.
