Electrical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for power plant and oil & gas projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Installations and Repairs: Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, motors, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Evaluations and Testing: Evaluate proper grounding, earthing, and connection of all electrical components. Perform electrical testing, including insulation resistance and continuity tests, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Determine and repair electrical faults in systems and equipment.
  • Replace defective or worn-out parts such as circuit breakers, fuses, and cables.
Safety and Compliance
  • Fulfill all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and workplace safety standards.
Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and test results.

Required skills include strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards. The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals is also essential.

Proficiency in using electrical testing tools, such as multimeters and insulation testers, is required. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are also necessary.

Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights are also required.
