Heavy Goods Transport Operator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Goods Transport Operator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles, transporting materials and equipment, and performing ad hoc duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and regulations;
  • Drive the vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies;
  • Perform loading and unloading tasks using appropriate tools and equipment;
  • Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good operating condition;
  • Plan routes and travel schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods;
  • Keep accurate records of trucking activities, including mileage and fuel consumption;
  • Ferry workers to construction sites as required;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Primary Education;
  • Able to communicate effectively in English or Mandarin;
  • Valid Class 4 or Class 5 Singapore Driving License;
  • WSQ certificate in Lorry Crane Operation or Equivalent;
  • Physically fit, self-disciplined, responsible, punctual, reliable;
  • Minimum (2) years driving experience in Singapore;
  • Minimum (1) year experience in operating heavy goods vehicles;
  • Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic patterns;
  • Basic knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance;
