Captive Insurance Manager Position
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Captive Insurance Manager to oversee our captive portfolio. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in risk management and underwriting, with excellent communication skills and proficiency in English and Chinese languages.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the captive portfolio's insurance and claims
- Assist Group Risk Managers in implementing group risk management solutions
- Collaborate with brokers on renewal programs and finalize policy documentations
- Prepare and issue policy documents, invoices, and closings as required
- Evaluate premiums for accuracy and adherence to due dates
- Ensure claims fall within policy terms and conditions
- Coordinate with adjusters, lawyers, or appointed claims managers throughout claim management
- Liaise with the servicing team regarding premiums, claims reserves, and provisions
- Provide regular reporting to Finance managers and attend to their queries
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance or broking industry, with preference given to those with captive industry experience
- Possession of professional insurance qualifications, such as ACII or ANZIIF
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages, with strong writing skills and communication abilities
- Able to multitask with good time management skills and a sense of ownership
