About the Role

Singfilm Solar Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Laser Scribing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D line, you will be responsible for owning the laser processing and transitioning laser processes to a new mass production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain laser scribing, cutting, and drilling equipment
  • Run baseline production and troubleshoot tool failures
  • Develop new ablation and scribing processes
  • Transfer R&D ablation and scribing processes to large-scale manufacturing laser tools
  • Develop SOPs and train other operators
Technical Requirements
  • Run baseline laser ablation and scribing recipes for pilot production lots
  • Characterize the scribed perovskite thin film with optical microscopy, SEM, profilometry, and testing perovskite solar modules with photoluminescence, electroluminescence, and Sun-Voc
  • Analyze data and present findings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related Engineering disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of professional or academic research experience
  • Previous experience with nano- and femtosecond laser materials processing is a strong plus
  • Experience in thin film characterization
  • Good communication, written, and verbal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on a diverse team
