About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Managers and Trading Desks from Equity, Multi-Asset, and FI Investment teams as well as covering ESG governance teams.

Job Description

">

The Solutions team is a client-focused IT team responsible for supporting core business processes covering portfolio construction, order generation, order management, trade execution, trade confirmation, and trade settlement.

">

This role requires an individual with strong business and technical knowledge to support Front Office applications and electronic trading applications as well as deliver on critical business-driven projects and initiatives for ESG governance teams.

">

A solid understanding of Financial Instruments, Portfolio construction, Trade lifecycle, and ESG business is essential to the role.

">

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Primary point of contact with Business Users (Portfolio Managers, Traders etc.)">
  • Must be team-oriented and work well within a global team">
  • Must be self-sufficient, be accountable, and act like an owner of IT-related issues handled by the team">
  • Good analytical, problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication skills">
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)">
  • Responsible for managing Incidents, major incident, problem, and change management related activities">
  • Work with stakeholders and development team to establish and document requirements. Translate business needs into technological requirements.">
  • Assist with project oversight by entering stories on the JIRA board and updating them as needed.">
  • Advanced Database/SQL skills - ability to write stored procedures. Good to have exposure to Snowflake.">
  • Experience with data analysis and manipulation using Excel and/or VBA.">
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems like UNIX/LINUX - Advanced understanding and ability to write scripts in Perl, Shell, Python, PowerShell">
  • Understanding of Equity/Derivatives/FX trade life cycle, electronic trading, FIX, and accounting.">
  • Batch job scheduling tools like Autosys">

Salary and Benefits

">

The salary for this position is SGD 80,000 - 100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including medical insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
