Job Description:

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our maintenance team and oversee the upkeep of our hotel's systems. As a Senior Maintenance Expert, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  2. Complex Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair advanced issues with hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements.
  3. Preventative Maintenance Program: Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all hotel equipment and systems to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  4. Project Management: Assist in managing larger maintenance and renovation projects, coordinating with external vendors and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  6. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with all hotel departments to address maintenance needs and support hotel operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a maintenance technician, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.

Advanced knowledge of building systems, including complex HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.

Certifications in relevant trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

Problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.

Good communication and organizational skills, with a professional and service-oriented demeanor.

Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call availability for emergencies.
