Children's Home Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Home Care Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with challenging behaviors.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to create a safe and supportive environment for children.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to children exhibiting difficult behaviors.
  • Provide individualized care and support to meet the physical and emotional needs of each child.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with each resident to monitor their progress and well-being.
  • Establish and maintain secure attachment bonds with children through consistent and loving care.
  • Supervise children closely and provide guidance on daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment with children.
  • Previous experience working with children is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Non-judgmental attitude and understanding of children's needs.
