Role and Responsibilities As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing patient medication charts and prescriptions to ensure that drugs prescribed are appropriate. This involves contacting the prescribing doctor when an intervention is needed. You will also be required to fulfill all drug orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that all related costs and revenue are accounted for and accurately recovered. Additionally, you will be responsible for dispensing medications to patients, explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medication charts and prescriptions to ensure appropriateness.
- Fulfill all drug orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate accounting of costs and revenue.
- Dispense medications to patients and provide relevant information.
- Provide drug information to other healthcare professionals.
- Delegate and oversee the work of subordinates.
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited University.
- 1-2 years' experience in a public healthcare institution.
- Valid practicing certificate and registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
