Pricing Strategy Overview
This role is responsible for developing and driving pricing strategy across the AP region, focusing on standardizing process, systems, and governance. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders in the AP region to accelerate positive pricing impact, driving revenue growth. They will partner with regional and global group members to ensure the successful roll-out of global pricing excellence in AP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and execution of AP pricing models and framework, governance, processes, and tools.
- Drive global pricing governance and pricing excellence initiatives roll-out.
- Improve and implement annual pricing process for list price and net distributor pricing setting.
- Develop strategic pricing program, including discounting structure proposal, influencing commercial team to achieve pricing and margin plans.
- Understand AP market trends and dynamics influencing pricing decisions.
- Conduct monthly reviews with key stakeholders to assess pricing objectives, including governance, performance evaluations, identifying issues, developing action plans, and ensuring local compliance.
- Partner with key stakeholders (commercial, product, marketing, finance) to ensure successful deployment of pricing strategies.
- Accurately and timely implement annual pricing rounds to optimize growth and profitability for the business.
- Manage the annual AOP pricing process, PLM, pricing, and volume analysis for product launches and related activities in business strategy development.
- Manage and develop the AP pricing team to support pricing initiatives across the region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and above; scientific background welcomed.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing management across APAC countries.
- Sound business acumen and pricing experience - financial and data modeling, statistical techniques.
- Good communication skills, proven track record in influencing change management through price and profitability management.
- Entrepreneurial spirit to drive results through end-to-end pricing process.
