This role involves financial reporting, planning and analysis for business units.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasting by reviewing financial assumptions and highlighting potential risks or issues.
- Provide variance analysis for actual versus budget and forecast, presenting key findings to stakeholders.
- Perform month-end closing for business units, ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition in line with accounting standards.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to handle ambiguity independently, and deliver within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
- Finance business support for business units.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly forecasting and annual budget exercise.
- Variance analysis for actual vs budget and forecast.
- Month end closing for business units.
- Review of business case and provision of financial recommendations.
- Development of financial models and scenario analysis.
- Support of finance-related queries from business units.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a degree in accountancy or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience and 2 years of financial planning and analysis experience.
Additionally, the following skills are required:
- Meticulous and good analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to handle ambiguity independently and deliver within strict deadlines.
