Trench Cutter Machine Operator Job Description

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trench Cutter Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our diaphragm wall construction and deep trenching works crew, you will be responsible for operating various trench cutter machines such as Hydrofraise, Kelly System, Kelly Line Grab, or similar equipment.

In this role, you will monitor machine parameters including pressure, torque, verticality, slurry level, etc., during operations. You will also interpret and follow design drawings, trench alignment, and depth specifications, ensuring accurate cutting and spoil disposal. Your duties will include coordinating with site engineers, surveyors, and slurry plant operators to guarantee smooth project execution. Additionally, you will perform pre-operation checks, basic troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of the equipment, as well as record operating data and report performance or breakdowns to the team.
