Job Title: Middleware Engineer

As a Middleware Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise-level middleware solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, with experience in developing and deploying custom-built middleware applications. Additionally, they will have expertise in infrastructure setup and configuration, including hardware, OS, DB, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy middleware applications using Java, Maven, Tomcat, and Springboot.
  • Configure Aldon applications for application deployments, perform deployment using Bitbucket/Jenkins, and Aldon LMe applications.
  • Develop scripts for batch jobs and interfaces using languages such as PowerShell, bash/shell, and Python.
  • Set up online and batch interface connectivity (SFTP, Connect-direct, API etc.) and monitor application services in Unix/Linux and Windows.
  • Supervise team members, provide guidance, and share knowledge to improve teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in IT or computer-related subject from a recognized university.
  • 6-9 years of experience in implementing applications (Windows and Linux) for large-scale banking systems, supporting at least 2 projects' end-to-end SDLC from inception to roll out and post-production.
  • Good technical skills in MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server knowledge, SQL Programming, Batch Scripting, Java programming, Windows IIS, SSH key exchange, and knowledge in Network Domain.
  • Hands-on experience in Devops pipeline - BitBucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Veracode, Code promotion via tools (e.g., Aldon LME or equivalent).
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills – both written and spoken.
