Job Title:
Marine/Construction Accountant - Consolodate Financial Data

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for performing monthly consolidation, preparing quarterly result announcements, reviewing overseas subsidiaries accounts, and assisting in group policy and process improvements. You will also record fixed assets acquisition and disposals in accounting systems, assign tag numbers to fixed assets, execute depreciation runs, update detailed movement schedules of fixed assets for reporting, conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets, and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.



Key Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly consolidation and review results for accuracy.
  • Prepare quarterly result announcements and ensure timely submission.
  • Review overseas subsidiaries accounts and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of group policies and processes.
  • Record fixed assets acquisition and disposals in accounting systems and assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
  • Execute depreciation runs and update detailed movement schedules of fixed assets for reporting.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets and ensure accurate recording.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to converse with business associates.
  • Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Marine/Construction industry.
  • Experience in consolidation, budgeting, and fixed assets management.
