Job Description

As a Cyber Security Lead, you will be responsible for defining and directing cyber security initiatives that improve the organisation's security posture.

You will lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of cyber programs across the organisation.

Monitor the threat landscape and enhance technologies to reinforce cyber defenses in prevention, detection, and remediation.

Collaborate closely with other IT functions to address complex cybersecurity challenges, identifying key threats, conducting risk analysis, and formulating mitigation strategies.

Establish and drive continuous improvement of end-to-end threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management processes.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, and at least 5 years in management role, preferably in multinational or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with common security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
  • Hands-on experience in security operation, engineering, architecture, and GRC.
  • Expertise in cloud, network, application security. Knowledge in OT solutions and security will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to convey complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
