Ophthalmology Clinical Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Resident Physician in the Department of Ophthalmology.

  • Supervise and manage clinics onsite and offsite, including patient care and exercising good diagnostic and clinical management acumen.
  • Teach and supervise Medical officers and Primary Care Partners (Family Physicians and General Practitioners).
  • Attend and participate in departmental teaching rounds, including combined Hospital teaching seminars and clinical-pathological case conferences.

Candidates should possess a basic medical degree, postgraduate qualifications, 3 year post housemanship clinical experience, be in active clinical practice, and registered with the relevant medical authority. They must demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen, teamwork, respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence in their work.

Clinical responsibilities include supervising and managing clinics, teaching and supervising junior doctors, and participating in departmental teaching rounds. A key requirement is to have a strong foundation in ophthalmology and excellent communication skills.

To succeed in this role, candidates should have a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be committed to ongoing professional development.
