We are seeking a skilled Solar Engineer to join our team at TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning solar projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing site teams. They will also perform site studies, monitor project progress, and assist in the investigation and troubleshooting of M&E issues.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with project managers to optimize resource utilization and meet budgetary and project milestones.
- Perform site studies to recommend PV system configurations.
- Manage solar project site teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor site work progress to ensure projects conform to specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Plan and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for projects.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Create checklists for review or inspection of solar projects.
- Assist in the investigation and troubleshooting of M&E issues during and post-project implementation.
- Assist in site testing and inspection of installations.
- Draft electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), solar module layouts, and string-connection drawings using AUTOCAD software.
- Draft mechanical drawings of solar PV systems.
- Prepare project documents for submission to authorities and ensure smooth delivery of project completion.
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, and other modeling software is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Preferably possess Class 3 driving license (Manual).
- Detailed-oriented individual.
The estimated salary range for this position is SGD $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
