We're seeking a Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role involves applying accounting principles to complex transactions and financial reporting for private equity clients. As a key member of our fund accounting team, you'll be responsible for reviewing transaction documentation, preparing supporting files, and understanding investment features. You will also perform bank reconciliations, process journal entries, and prepare financial schedules. Additionally, you'll handle client information requests, review work paper files, and prepare management fee calculations. Furthermore, you'll review investor allocations, capital account statements, and distribution calculations. Your tasks will include updating distribution waterfall models, preparing financial statements, and supporting the year-end audit process. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. At least 2+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, preferably within Private Equity or Big 4 Audit Firm, is necessary. You should be deadline-oriented, able to multitask, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
