Job Title:

Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Optimization

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the supply chain management department, you will be responsible for optimizing warehouse utilization and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and storage capacity to identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to forecast demand, align stock levels, and coordinate production schedules.
  • Develop strategies to optimize warehouse utilization and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of materials while preventing overstocking.
  • Track and report key metrics, including inventory days on hand, stock-out frequency, and order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency in inventory control and material handling.
  • Support the implementation of ERP or digital tools for better inventory visibility and planning.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledgeable in ERP systems and proficient in data analysis software.
