Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join TD Bank Group's Governance and Control team as a Manager, Governance and Compliance. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of effective internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of compliance programs and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and TD Bank Group's risk appetite.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement effective controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners, regulatory bodies, and compliance experts.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on compliance matters, and ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining compliance.
• Participate in the development and implementation of compliance training programs, and ensure that all employees receive regular training and updates on compliance matters.

Requirements

• University or post-graduate degree in a relevant field, such as law, finance, or business.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks, including anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and industry trends.
