Job Title:
Executive, Client Due Diligence

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Executive, Client Due Diligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting timely due diligence reviews for on-boarding/event trigger cases escalated by Business Unit, which include evaluating the completeness of documents, assessing risk characteristics of the customer and its connected parties, and providing recommendations to Compliance and Management, where relevant.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough due diligence reviews for on-boarding/event trigger cases, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of results.
• Evaluate the completeness of documents and assess risk characteristics of the customer and its connected parties.
• Provide recommendations to Compliance and Management, where relevant, to ensure effective risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform end-to-end ECDD reviews for Periodic/Event Trigger arising from new findings on existing customer base, ensuring reviews are completed within stipulated timelines.
• Requisition, prepare, and review required documents to assess the customer and its connected parties, risk characteristics/corporate structure, etc.
• Provide advice/clarification to Business Unit(s) in relation to AML/CFT policies and procedures.
• Liaise with external customers for updated information and/or documents, where applicable.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree holders in any discipline with a passion in the AML/CFT regime and at least 1-3 years of working experience in the Banking & Finance industry.
• Strong understanding of relevant banking practices and AML/CFT regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround time, attentive to details, and highly adaptable to changing business needs and work responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good time management skills to achieve results, and ability to maintain consistent high performance standards by taking personal responsibility for the quality, timeliness of work, and display of exemplary work behaviors.
