Job Overview:

Aircraft Painter is a skilled professional responsible for applying paint to commercial aircraft and component parts using high-volume low-pressure (HVLP) guns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepping, masking/unmasking, painting and inspecting aerospace components
  • Spraying paint manufactured parts or assemblies
  • Mixing and thinning paint and coatings as required
  • Spraying primer and final paint or coating using a spray gun application

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • No minimum education required but relevant experience is essential
  • At least 2 years of working experience as an Industrial/Automotive finish spray painter
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts (including night shift)
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays

Desirable Skills:

  • Possess strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
  • Have excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
