Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team of experienced professionals in the field of aviation training. As a simulator instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to clients, ensuring their skills and knowledge are enhanced.

Your primary duties will include:

  1. Delivering client training sessions, focusing on classroom systems, performance ground school, and in-simulator pilot training;
  2. Monitoring and assuring compliance to all authorizations and qualifications;
  3. Assisting with other duties as assigned by the Training Manager;
  4. Striving to increase instructor qualifications, as required by the program;
  5. Conducting quality pre and post-flight briefings;
  6. Suggesting changes to curriculum and courseware materials to enhance the client's experience;
  7. Assisting the Lead with duties when requested;
  8. Ensuring all paperwork/electronic records are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Above-average verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and internet applications in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Internet Explorer;
  • The ability to focus and work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment;
  • Readiness to accept change and adjust accordingly;
  • Maintained concentrated customer/client orientation;
  • Relevant type rating with operational experience or equivalent (FAA preferable);
  • Hold or have held an Air Transport License/certificate, or equivalent;
  • Total multi-pilot time of 1500 hours or more;
  • Previous experience as an instructor;
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 environment;
  • Training and operations career in an aviation-related business acceptable to regulatory authorities.
