Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of CNC Machinist. This position involves operating and maintaining CNC lathes, performing daily maintenance tasks, and meeting production output targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and tools
  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A higher National Diploma (HND) or NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of cutting tool selection, speeds, and feeds for different materials
  • Experience with quality inspection and measurement techniques
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Forklift license
