Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot and repair Deck Cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics, and Davits.
  • Have solid working experience with marine crane and deck machinery makers such as MacGREGOR, IHI, MITSUBISHI, LIEBHERR, TTS MARINE, TSUJI, HATLAPA, and PUSNES, NIPPON PUSNES.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience sailing as an Electrical Officer on bulkers equipped with deck cranes and have carried out troubleshooting and repairing Marine Cranes, Windlasses, and other hydraulic systems on board.
  • Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled electro-hydraulic cranes and hydraulic machinery.
  • Be able to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Be able to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  • Be able to supervise a team of mechanics and carry out large repair projects as Lead Engineer on board, on voyage, and in Ship Yards.
  • Be able to write technical reports and communicate with owners' representatives.
Requirements:
