Procurement Specialist Role

Job Summary:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of purchasing activities, including sourcing and supplier management. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

  • Execute procurement plans to meet business requirements
  • Perform supplier evaluations and negotiations to secure the best deals
  • Manage supplier relationships to optimize performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Key Responsibilities:

The Procurement Specialist will oversee all aspects of procurement, from sourcing and procurement planning to vendor selection and contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and supervisory skills, as well as knowledge of Oracle systems or equivalent software.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Source and procure goods and services from qualified suppliers
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics and trends
Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum diploma or degree in any field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of Oracle systems or equivalent software
  • Excellent communication and supervisory skills
