Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team at Collins Aerospace, an RTX business. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and modification of Avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate test equipment to test and modify LRUs.
  • Conduct regular functional and self-test calibration on Automated and Manual Test Equipment.
  • Ensure all test equipment are within calibration due-date before testing of LRU is carried out.
  • Perform modifications in accordance to service bulletins on LRUs as and when required.
  • Troubleshoot customer's unit and return it to serviceable condition in the most efficient manner.
  • Verify and ensure all repairs or modifications carried out conform to quality and workmanship standards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices at work place and test benches at all times.
  • Carry out duties as assigned by the Supervisor to meet team's objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electronic Engineering or any other related discipline.
  • Preferably 1-2 years work experience in aviation industry or avionics related field.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Good understanding of electronics theory.
