Job Opportunity

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage day-to-day projects, ensuring timely completion and maintaining high-quality results. Project Managers oversee the execution of Afloat Repairs, Lifesaving & Fire-Fighting Inspection and offshore projects on Ships/Rigs in Singapore and at Overseas.

  • Project Scheduling: Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion and maintain high-quality results.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with department heads to handle field service operations, technical, operational, and commercial matters.
  • Quotations and Costing: Prepare project quotations, send for approval, and manage project costing for job completion settlement with customers.
  • Material Coordination: Coordinate material, tools, and equipment requisition, issue purchase orders, and monitor repair team progress.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, including Shipowner/managers, Offshore Operators, Shipyard Repair Managers, Agents, and others.
  • Tool Management: Manage tools and equipment, calibrate periodically as required, and handover contact information for transportation arrangement.
  • Documentation: Ensure all documentation and certificates are ready for submission to clients upon project completion.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent. Have experience in marine machinery and equipment. Prior experience in Shipyard or working onboard is preferred.
  • Advantages: Coordinating marine service work, especially afloat repairs, is an advantage. Able to commit extra hours due to the nature of the job.
